Degema/Bonny 2019: I Will Do Only One Term - APC Candidate, Kingsley Fubara Hart In a bid to assure the agelong pact between Bonny and Degema Local Government Areas to rotate the slot to represent the Degema/Bonny federal constituency in the House of Representatives between the two sister LGAs, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kingsley Fubara Hart has promised to serve only one term if elected into office. Hart, who emerged the flagbearer of the APC after the party’s primary at Degema, headquarters of the Degema LGA, said this was to ensure that Degema LGA takes its turn to also represent the constituency come 2023. The seat is currently occupied by Randolph Brown, who hails from Finima in Bonny LGA. He was elected into office in 2015 to succeed Sokonte Davies, from Degema, who served between 2007 and 2015.
